You may choose to Activate your product later, but you must activate the software within 15 days.

- Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet, then click Next.

- If you purchased your computer with Norton Internet Security already installed, you must accept the license agreement in order to use Norton Internet Security.
Click I accept the license agreement, and then click Next.

- In the first Registration window, select the Country Region from which you are registering.

- If you would like information from Symantec about Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall, check the method by which you want to receive that information, type the corresponding address and phone number, and then click Next.

- Check the appropriate box if you would like to receive postal mail from Symantec.

- Type your name and address, and then click Next.

- Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet, and then click Next to activate.

- Select the following post-installation tasks that you want Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall to perform automatically:
- Import your email address book (Norton Internet Security only)
Quickly add the people in your email address book to your Allowed List.
- Scan for Viruses (Norton Internet Security only)
Perform a full system scan.
- Set up Privacy Control
Identify the information you want Privacy Control to protect.
- Set up Parental Control (Norton Internet Security only)
Create accounts for individual users.
- Set up Productivity Control (Norton Internet Security Professional only)
Create accounts for individual users.
- Run LiveUpdate
Ensure that you have the latest security updates.

- Review the post-installation tasks and configuration settings you chose, and then click Finish.
If you selected any post-installation tasks, they will start automatically.
